As Indiana 2016 Bicentennial Commission leaders, we are privileged to play a role in a special time in our state’s history – our 200th birthday celebration. This statewide, grassroots bicentennial commemoration will strive to showcase the best of Indiana in 2016 and beyond.
In communities across the state, many people are excited and ready to honor our state’s history. Together, we can celebrate in a way that engages all residents, past and present.
The state has identified $20 million in state funding to support the Bicentennial Nature Trust and the Lilly Endowment contributed an additional $10 million grant.
